The Stax SRS-3010 System comprises the SR-202 Earspeakers and SRM-310 driver unit.
SR-202 (Earspeakers):
The STAX SR-202 is an electrostatic type of transducer in which a transparent polymer film less than 2 microns thick is driven by the power of static electricity. Astounding sound quality obtained by an incredibly light diaphragm almost as light as air.
SRM-310 (Driver Unit):
The circuit configuration takes over the pure-balance, A Class, all-stage DC amplifier configuration developed by STAX in the past to drive the Electrostatic Earspeakers. A push-pull signal is obtained by low-noise FET input operational amplifier, for ICL input. The output stage consists of a simple inverting amplifier based on low-noise FET’s and high voltage transistors.
SRM-310's new sleek design allows the amplifier to act as a headphone stand when not in use. Opening on the top also allows for neat cable storage.
The SRM-310 adopted the regulated power for clear sound in bias voltage and power supply.
