This Terms and Conditions document governs the use of Soundline Online’s Service (the Service) including shopping and participation in promotions run by Soundline Online. You can access this Agreement at any time from the left hand side of any page of the site.
Shopping Terms & Conditions
Purchasing from Soundline Online
Soundline Audio Online shopping gives customers convenient, quick, easy and secure shopping. We only ship goods within New Zealand, international guests can refer to the links page to locate the nearest distributor to them.
While Soundline Audio Online is a newly established service, we have been operating in New Zealand for over 25 years. Our contact details show our physical locations throughout New Zealand so you can be assured that you are dealing with a reputable company.
Products displayed on the site shopping areas can be purchased using secure online MasterCard, Visa, and Bankcard credit cards. Customers can be confident that all of their details are protected by the latest security mechanisms and are used only for purposes of the transaction fulfilment.
You will be asked to register as a member of Soundline Online. Apart from the many member benefits, including receiving regular emails containing special deals, your shopping address details will be filed saving you the effort of entering these details each time you checkout.
We must receive payment details for the whole of the price for the goods that you order and all monies owing before your order can be accepted. Once payment details have been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an e-mail to you at the e-mail address you provide in your order form. We will not charge your credit card until your order is ready to be dispatched to you. Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us.
All prices in the shopping areas are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST (12.5% Goods and Services Tax). All prices are correct at time of publication, however we reserve the right to alter prices for any reason without notice. If this should happen after you have ordered a product, we will contact you prior to processing your order.
30-Day Home Trial and or Cancelling your order.
Try most Kimber Kable, WBT and Tivoli Audio products at home. If at any time you decide that these products do not suit you, then simply return them within 30 days for a full refund or exchange, see Return of Goods section below for conditions on returning goods.
All Tivoli radio's listed on this site are available for 30 day home trial.
All WBT Connectors listed on this site are available for 30 day home trial.
Custom made cables and any non-standard cables are excluded from our 30 day home trial period. A basic summary of standard cables is listed below.

Why not include all cables in the 30 Day home trial?
The reason is that there is such a huge variety of cables many with different lengths, different connectors, different colours, in fact the potential number of different combinations is staggering! We just can’t stock them all and also many cables are a “one-off”.
To cancel your order (i.e. not returning the items for an exchange item) you must notify us in writing (letter, fax or e-mail).

Once you have returned the products to us under the 30 Day Home Trial, any sum paid to us from your credit card will be refunded to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your cancellation provided that the goods are returned as set out in the Return of Goods section below.
If we cancel your order
We reserve the right to cancel your order for the following reasons:
• We do not deliver to your location. Note we only deliver goods within New Zealand unless by special agreement from the manufacturers of the products we represent.
• One or more of the goods you ordered was listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or an error in the pricing information received by us from our suppliers.
• We have reason to suspect that credit card details are incorrect or you are not the authorised cardholder.
• Your contact details and or shipping address is incomplete. Please note: Most courier companies cannot deliver to a PO Box.
If we do cancel your order we will notify you in writing (by letter, e-mail or fax) and will refund to your account any sum deducted by us from your credit card as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of your order.
We shall have no liability to you for any loss suffered as a result of cancellation of your order.
Delivery will be made as soon as possible after your order is accepted and normally within 3 days of your order. Non standard cable lengths and custom made products and may take longer, we will notify you of an estimated delivery time when we have processed your order.
You will become the owner of the goods you have ordered when they have been delivered to you unless your payment has been reversed by a financial institution.
Once goods have been delivered to you, you will assume all risk for their security and use. We will not be liable for their loss, damage, destruction or any loss, damage or destruction occurring as a result of their use.
Events beyond our control.
We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdowns, failure of network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.
Incorrect, Faulty or Damaged Goods.
Soundline Audio will replace any goods delivered to you that are incorrect or in a faulty or damaged condition. Under these circumstances we will refund the cost of return freight.
If the packaging appears to be damaged at time of delivery, you must advise the freight company immediately and note any damage in writing before signing for any goods. If you do not notify the freight company immediately of any visible signs of damage we shall have no liability to you.
You must notify us in writing (letter, fax or email) immediately upon receipt of any freight-damaged goods and no later than 7 working days of receiving incorrect, faulty or damaged goods. If you have not notified us within 7 working days of the delivery of the goods in question, we shall have no liability to you.
Any incorrect, faulty or damaged goods must be returned to us unless otherwise agreed in writing, before any refund will be made. See Return of Goods section for details on returning goods.
Return of Goods
If you wish to return goods to us, you must notify us in writing (letter, fax, email) and we will send you a return form to complete. The return form will request the following information:

Any returning goods must be returned to us in their original condition, packed in the original manufacturers packaging and then placed in a strong outer carton for shipping. Do not ship only in the original manufacturers packaging. Please ship the goods to the following address:

For items with a value over $30.00 we strongly recommend using a traceable return freight method. For example using a courier company, New Zealand Post Courier Bag, Certified or Registered Mail. We cannot be held responsible for returning items damaged or lost in transit. It is our opinion that standard parcel post is not secure.
We can also arrange to have the goods collected from you by our couriers and the cost of the return freight will be deducted from any refund. Please contact us for details if you require this service.
Goods are returned to us at your cost and risk.
Use of the Service by you.
Your right to use the Service is personal to you. You may not authorise others to use the Service, and you are responsible for all of your own use of the Service and for preventing unauthorised use of the Service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Soundline Audio does sell products for children, but it sells them to adults, who can purchase with a credit card. If you are under 18, you may use Soundline Audio only with involvement of a parent or guardian. Soundline Audio reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove and or edit content.
You may not download, modify, transmit, or otherwise use any material from the Service for public or commercial purposes.
Other than connecting to Soundline Online’s servers by HTTP requests using a web browser, you may not attempt to gain access to Soundline Online’s servers by any means, including, without limitation, by using administrator passwords or by masquerading as an administrator while using the Service or otherwise.
You agree not to disrupt, modify or interfere with the Service or its associated software, hardware and servers in any way and you agree not to impede or interfere with others’ use of the Service. You further agree not to alter or tamper with any information or materials on, or associated with, Soundline Audio and/or the Service.
This Service provides general information about Soundline Audio and the products and services they offer. The information contained in the Service has been prepared solely for the purpose of providing information about Soundline Audio and the services and products we offer. Soundline Audio reserves the right to change, delete or move any of the material on the Service at any time without notice.
Soundline Audio shall not be liable to you or any third parties for any direct, indirect, special, consequential or punitive damages sustained arising out of your access to or inability to access the Service. This includes viruses alleged to have been obtained from the Service, your use of or reliance on the Service or any of the information or materials available on the Service, regardless of the type of claim or the nature of the cause of action.
If any parts of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which we exclude or limit our liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
The Website (excluding any linked third party Websites) is controlled by Soundline Online. By accessing this Website, you accept that any disputes about this Website or the Content are to be determined by the Courts having jurisdiction in New Zealand in accordance with the laws in force in New Zealand.
Although this Website can be accessed throughout New Zealand and overseas, Soundline Audio does not represent that the content of this Website complies with the laws (including the intellectual property laws) of countries outside New Zealand. If you access this Website from outside New Zealand, you do this on your own responsibility and are responsible for ensuring compliance with all laws in the place where you are located.
